An ecological education centre in Dartington, Devon, founded in 1991 in the spirit of E.F. Schumacher ('Small is Beautiful'). Offers short courses and postgraduate programs in ecological design, regenerative economics, systems thinking and 'the new economics'. Teachers have included Fritjof Capra, Vandana Shiva, David Abram and James Lovelock. The college itself operates as a living demonstration: food grown on site, community decision-making, minimal environmental impact. Part of the Dartington
