Mya-Rose Craig, aka 'Birdgirl', is a British-Bangladeshi ornithologist, conservationist and climate activist who has observed 6,000+ bird species, making her the youngest person to achieve that milestone. At 11, she started her blog BirdGirlUK to encourage young people and Black and Brown communities into birdwatching and nature. In 2020, she held a climate protest ON Arctic sea ice to highlight climate impacts on polar ecosystems. She organised an expedition to make Black and Brown naturalists
