Florian Guillaume: “Making plankton visible is a quiet way to help us care about the half of our oxygen we never see.”

The Planctonarium: a unique scientific and sensory experience designed by Simon Paquin to make the ocean's invisible life visible. Écomaris creates immersive installations based on live and photographed marine plankton, the microscopic organisms responsible for 50% of Earth's oxygen production and the foundation of all oceanic food chains. Based in Montréal, the organisation tours internationally with exhibition installations, interactive films and educational programs for schools and museums. M
