A Greek civil society association founded in 2008 by former Interior Minister Stavros Benos to restore and revitalise the 150+ ancient theatres scattered across Greece, not as museum pieces, but as living cultural venues for local communities. Diazoma (Greek for the horizontal corridor in ancient theatres) channels private donations, EU funds and citizen volunteering into archaeological restoration combined with community programming.
