Professor Zoubida Charrouf of Mohammed V University in Rabat has devoted 30 years to researching the argan tree (Argania spinosa), Morocco's endemic 'tree of life'. Her scientific work established the biochemical basis for argan oil's properties, transforming it from a traditional product into a global cosmetic and culinary resource.
