Isabella Tree and her husband Charlie Burrell turned their 3,500-acre conventional farm in West Sussex into Britain's most celebrated rewilding experiment. After years of financial losses trying to farm heavy clay soil, they removed fences, reintroduced free-roaming cattle, pigs, Exmoor ponies and deer, and let nature take over.
