Building a changemaker cooperative

Sometimes, all it takes is meeting the right person.

Every meaningful encounter starts with someone else’s recommendation. CHNGMKR helps you follow those recommendations until they become your own.

Changemakers curated by changemakers.

01
Inspiration

The people who inspire you admire others you don’t know yet.

02
Recommendation

We ask them to name the changemakers who matter to them.

03
Your compass

Choose a curator you trust and explore the map through their eyes.

From the curators’ notes
“They defend the people the law forgets — prisoners, migrants, the seriously ill — and then they change the law itself.”

Find inspiration.

Each name comes from a curator they inspired.

Lived influence, real knowledge of the field, genuine admiration. Each name reaches you from someone they truly helped move forward.

Meet the changemakers.

A name on the map can become a real conversation.

You give us a name, and our connectors look for the right way, and the right moment, to bring you together. Real introductions, made by people, when both sides genuinely want it.

Meet them

Join a new
economic paradigm.

CHNGMKR is building a community-owned knowledge cooperative. Each year, a defined share of the value it creates flows back to the people who make it: the curators who reveal changemakers, the changemakers themselves, and the projects they lead.

Our model is based on real-life connections. CHNGMKR identifies, qualifies and organizes paid meetings with changemakers for people and organizations seeking direct insight, guidance and inspiration. Each meeting creates value, and that value is shared with those who made it possible. Curators are rewarded for the changemakers they bring into the map. Changemakers are paid for the time, knowledge and perspective they share. Part of the value created then goes either to them directly, or to the organizations and causes they choose to support. The map becomes more than a place to discover inspiring people. It becomes a new way to recognize, connect and support them.

Become a member. Help build the changemaker cooperative.

Browse the map freely. Membership gives you deeper ways to explore it, save what matters, and ask CHNGMKR to help turn a discovery into a real introduction.

Ask the map

Use up to 100 AI-assisted searches each month. Ask in your own words and receive answers grounded in the CHNGMKR knowledge base and curator recommendations.

Build your own map

Save changemakers, create lists, and organise the people, places and ideas you want to return to.

Meet them

Ask CHNGMKR to explore a path to someone on the map. Every request is reviewed by our team and depends on the person’s availability and willingness to connect.

The cooperative model

Your membership helps share the value created.

Part of what CHNGMKR earns goes back to the people who make the map: the curators who reveal changemakers, the changemakers themselves, and the projects they lead.

How the community share is divided
  • 50%for the curators who reveal changemakers
  • 25%for the changemakers themselves
  • 25%for the Impact Pool, funding changemaker-led projects

CHNGMKR shares at least 10% of its contribution margin with the community each year. Once the platform is financially secure, that share is topped up to reach 50% of its distributable profit in total.
